Marginalized Inclusion Network(MIN)-is a non-profit organization registered in Somalia under the Ministry of Interior and Internal Affairs.
The Marginalized Inclusion Network (MIN) is a registered non-profit organization in Somalia, established on October 10, 2016. We operate under the Ministry of Interior and Internal Affairs with a singular focus: to find durable solutions for the critical challenges facing marginalized, minority, and vulnerable populations across the country.
Our work is driven by a commitment to Human Dignity and the delivery of Inclusive Humanitarian Assistance, helping communities rebuild resilience and stability following decades of internal conflict, strife, and severe climatic shocks.
Our approach to GBV is survivor-centered and focused on providing immediate, life-saving assistance. We strengthen case management systems to provide direct service provision, comprehensive psychosocial support (PSS), emergency care, and immediate referral to specialized services for survivors of gender-based violence. We implement robust Protection Monitoring systems to identify and document protection concerns and human rights violations.
MIN is committed to supporting dignified community access to quality education, coordinated closely with government ministries and stakeholders. Our programs specifically target children from the most vulnerable, marginalized, and minority groups, ensuring they can access schooling. We link education to future employment by incorporating skill development programs to increase the self-reliance and employability of marginalized youth.
We work to save lives and promote sustainable well-being by improving access to critical health and environmental services. We aim to improve and promote the provision of primary healthcare services, with a specific focus on child health and maternal health to safeguard expectant mothers and infants. We improve access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities for minorities, IDPs, and vulnerable host communities, often focusing on facilities like schools and health clinics.
